(Bernama pic) IPOH: A former plantation worker, M Sugu, who is the husband of famous YouTuber S Pavithra, was today released by the Sessions Court here on good behaviour bond for three years for possession of an offensive weapon. Besides imposing an RM8,000 bail with one surety, Judge Norashima Khalid also ordered Sugu, 30, who had pleaded guilty to the charge, to pay cost of RM3,000 to the prosecution. He was charged with committing the offence at the parking lot of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital here, between 4pm and 6pm on July 21 last year. ....

In the unanimous decision, Tengku Maimun said the court had read the written submissions filed by the parties involved. “We find merits in the appeal. The Court of Appeal’s decision is therefore set aside and the case will be transferred to the High Court, ” she said here on Tuesday (Dec 15).
