ISLAMABAD: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Special Assistant on Higher Education Kamran Bangash visited Higher Education Commission (HEC) for discussion on various matters pertaining to higher education in KP.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Department (HED) Peshawar team was led by Kamran Bangash (SACM) on higher education accompanied by Dr Shafiq-ur-Rehman, advisor Quality Assurance, Imran Ullah Khan Marwat, Director Quality Assurance and Dr Fazl Hadi, Director Academic.
The main agenda of meeting was implementation of associate degree in non-BS colleges in KP as KP has already implemented it since Fall-2020. Further undergraduate policy implementation was also discussed. Financial issues in universities were discussed and long term planning in this regard was discussed to avoid problems in future. ....

CHAKDARA, Lower Dir: Quality Enhancement Cell, University of Malakand organized a one day training session for faculty members of affiliated colleges regarding Quality Assurance in Higher Education at Conference Hall, Department of Education of the university.
According to a press release, resource persons of the training sessions were Prof Dr Shafiq Ur Rehman, Advisor Quality Assurance Higher Education Department and Imran Ullah Khan Marwat, Director Quality Assurance, HED Peshawar.
Director QEC University of Malakand Dr Nasiara Karim welcomed all the participants for attending the event and highlighted the importance of quality assurance in higher education. ....

Islamabad :Workshop on QS Ranking & HEC Revised Policy for BS & PhD was organized by Directorate of Quality Assurance & Development (QAD) at Main Campus Admin Block International Islamic University Islamabad. Resource person of the workshop were Mr. Imran Ullah Khan Marwat, Director Quality Assurance Higher Education Department (HED), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar and Dr Jahangir Khan, Ex Director QEC University of Malakand KP, says a press release.
Workshop was attended by Faculty members and officers of relevant department. Workshop was also attended online by more than 60 participants from other universities of Pakistan. Dr Rahmat Elahi, Director QAD IIUI welcome all the participants for event.
