The local branch of a non-profit organization is bringing back a rib festival to Chatham-Kent in a new format.
The Drive-Thru Ribfest, organized by Epilepsy Southwestern Ontario Chatham-Kent, will be held June 11-13 at the Memorial Arena parking lot at 80 Tweedsmuir Ave. in Chatham.

A news release said the organization has “invited several well-known rib trucks … to bring this summer classic to residents of Chatham-Kent and raise some much-needed funds for the charity.”
Guests can provide a donation when they enter the event space with their vehicles. They can pick up their food from vendors while driving through the parking lot and enjoy the food inside their vehicles or at home. ....
