Advisor Baseer reviews preparations for Amarnathji Yatra

GANDERBAL, Apr 14: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan today visited Ganderbal and reviewed preparations for forthcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra besides met several public delegations at Conference Hall, Mini Secretariat here.
While reviewing the arrangements for Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2021, the Advisor asked the Deputy Commissioner to remain proactive and undertake all the measures required to conduct the smooth and successful yatra. He gave an account of activities that need to be checklisted and meticulously followed for smooth management of the Yatra.
Advisor Khan directed the Deputy Commissioner to keep all the amenities available, establish Control rooms, designate Camp officers, prepare a Medical plan, evacuation plan and disaster management plan, build up stocks as per the food and supplies, LPG gas, kerosene requirements, Sanitation works as well as plan for COVID management. ....

FIR against BDO staff as office record go missing, police recovers half burnt files

RAJOURI, Jan 25: Police has registered an FIR against some staff members of the office of Block Development Officer (BDO), Darhal after important files related to several works under MG-NREGA and other various schemes went missing from the office while Assistant Commissioner Development, ACD Rajouri today ordered inquiry with the intervention of Director Rural Development Department, Jammu.
Official sources said that BDO Darhal, Maqbool Ahmed lodged an FIR No. 04/ 2021 under Sections 457/318 IPC against the staff members of his own office at Police Station Darhal three days ago, alleging that some important files related to various works have been stolen from his office recently. He also mentioned about his suspicion on some concerned employees in this regard. ....

SRINAGAR: The Crime Branch Kashmir on Monday produced chargesheet against a “self styled” president of the Daily Wagers Union Jammu and Kashmir for allegedly using fake and forged letter pad of the former Chief Minister of erstwhile J&K Omar Abdullah for regularization of the daily wage workers of Rural Development Department. The chargesheet in the case (FIR No. 32/2014) under section 420,468,471 RPC against the accused Ghulam Mohammad Wani of Anzwala Anantnag was filed before the Court of Forest Magistrate Srinagar, officials said.
The case was registered consequent upon a complaint received from Chief Minister’s Secretariat of the erstwhile state, regarding the use of fake and forged letter pad of Omar Abdullah in 2014. ....
