Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) will build a walkthrough museum on Pakistan Monument, aimed at inspiring new generations from the sacrifices rendered by forefathers in the creation of Pakistan.
Photographic images from the Pakistan movement would be displayed around the walkthrough, providing children and residents of the federal capital an opportunity to see the country’s history in a unique style, CDA spokesman told this agency.
A flag monument site would be developed in open space adjacent to the Monument and converted into an outdoor museum with no walls and ceiling, he added.
In this regard, he said modern technology would be employed to display 3D images carved out on the pillars. ....

Walk-through history museum planned in H-8 - Newspaper

ISLAMABAD: The city managers have decided to set up a walk-through history museum at H-8 which will be inaugurated on Independence Day this year.
The walk-through museum, which will have around two dozen pictures related to Pakistan Movement, will be set up near the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, where the national flag is already installed on a tallest poll.
“We have a large abandoned open space near the national flag site. So, I have directed the concerned wing to set up a walk-through museum to highlight the struggle of our nation for creation of Pakistan,” said CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed. ....
