Ocala native, community advocate and Ocala City Council member Ire Bethea had his usually busy schedule reined in last year after he contracted COVID-19.
I spent most of July in the hospital. When I got out I was weak and the doctors said it may be six to 12 months before I get my strength back,  Bethea said.
The first three months after I got out of the hospital I stayed (mostly) at home and tried to avoid people, he said.  ....
