The measure of reverence and respect we have for Aaron Arthur Ferguson simply cannot be determined. Aaron Arthur ‘Shona’ Ferguson, also known affectionately as “Uncle Sho, Mr Sho, Sho Babe, Fede, Fa, Skag”, was born in Gaborone on 30th April 1974, into a family of royalty from both his mother’s and father’s sides. As the fifth child of Peter Harry Ferguson and Boitshwarelo Mercy Ferguson, Shona was brought up in a devoutly Christian home and embraced God’s Word with deep conviction. He attended primary and junior secondary school in Gaborone and completed his senior secondary education in Maseru, Lesotho. ....
Roswell Award Second place: “Biomimicry”, Ven Pillay Third place: “Realtiger”, Susan Wachowski Tomorrow Prize Second place: “EP-1M Contamination”, Britney Cruz Third place: “Returning Home”, Sofia Orduno “Corn” by Sienna Koizumi won the 2021 Green Feather Award competition, and received $250. “Never Turn Your Back on the Water” by Courtney Watson won the 2021 Women Hold Up Half the Sky competition. The Roswell Award short story competition is open to writers 16 years old and up. First place winner received $500 and access to the UCLA Extension writers’ program. Second prize was $250, and third prize was $100. Judges were Steven Barnes, Alyssa Bell, Wesley Chu, S.B. Divya, Rebecca Moesta, Philippe Mora, and Larry Niven. ....
