LiveWIRE Brunei presented a
Zakat payment of BND7,150.82 to the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) at the LiveWIRE Main Office in Gadong on Wednesday.
The payment of
Zakat was for the AgroBIZ project’s successful paddy harvest. In the second cycle of harvesting, the project produced a net weight of nearly 27 tonnes, an improvement from the previous harvest.
The handover was also held in conjunction with Shell LiveWIRE Brunei 20
th anniversary.
