Born and bred on a farm in Seaqaqa on Vanua Levu, young Alena Mataika Raiserenivosa has developed a keen passion for the promotion and development of sustainable Agriculture.
Encouraged by family and former school teachers, the 19-year-old decided to pursue her passion to further her knowledge in this field by enrolling for the program Bachelor of Education (Secondary) in Agricultural Science at the Fiji National University (FNU).
“Coming from a farming background I’ve always loved spending time outdoors. I took Agriculture studies in school and was encouraged by my family and former teacher Mohammed Feroz to continue following my passion by joining FNU,” Ms Raiserenivosa said. ....
