Cape Town â Judy McFarlane is desperately trying to track down her 28-year-old daughter, Rosalyne.
Updated CCTV footage shows her leaving False Bay Hospital in Fish Hoek on Wednesday shortly before 2pm. A frail Rosalyne, who is not on medication, had no money or warm clothes when she left.
ââOur precious daughter Rosalyne is now missing over 30 hours. Words cannot describe our pain. Please keep sharing her picture. We need to find her,ââ Judy, who lives in Marina da Gama, posted on Facebook today. ....

Parents urged not to let their guard down this festive season

It s not only COVID-19 driving parents of young children to steer clear of crowded spaces. The festive season usually brings with it busier-than-usual malls and beaches. This also increases the likelihood of opportunistic criminals striking. eNCA s Monique Mortlock has the story.
CAPE TOWN - NGOs dealing with missing children say this busy season provides the perfect distraction for criminals to pounce.
Organisations like the Pink Ladies Organisation for Missing Children and Missing Children SA say this time of the year is usually one of their busiest.
They re warning parents not to let their guard down.
We do see an increase of children going missing over the festive season and over the holiday periods in general, said Bianca van Aswegen from Missing Children SA. ....
