WHEELING – Staff and students at Steenrod Elementary School are playing Santa this holiday season and helping out some who might not have needed it in the past.
The school has been collecting personal care items for Youth Services Systems in Wheeling, gathering non-perishable food and snack items in partnership with the Junior League of Wheeling, and assisting a church’s efforts in providing Christmas to families struggling at this time. ....
