Acadiana Workforce Solutions hosts a Youth Employment Recruitment Event on Friday.
The event will be held on January 29 from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM for individuals who are interested in participating in the Youth Work Experience Program. Targeted job seekers are ages 16-24. The Work Experience Program allows youth to upgrade their job skills while getting paid to work closely with local employers.
The event will be held under a covered area outside at 706 E. Vermilion St, Lafayette, LA 70501, and job seekers will be required to follow COVID-19 CDC regulations and guidelines. There will be limits on how many people can be in line at one time; all others will wait in their cars to be contacted. You have to wear a mask and maintain social distancing during the event. ....
