AS WATER is a vital element of life and an essential component for a healthy and productive community, initiatives are being undertaken by the Research and Extension Office of Central Philippines State University in Kabankalan City to let this basic need be enjoyed by the people concerned.
Seeing this predicament being experienced by the households in So. Lucay, Barangay Camingawan, Kabankalan City, the said office conducted a training workshop on designing and installation of the community-based solar-powered water system for drinking and household use last February 8, 2021.
Recipients were the families residing at the CPSU AEOP-FVTC or Agricultural Extension Outreach Program-Farmers Village Training Center. The lecture was headed by Jundel Gonzaga, CAF faculty. The installation of the solar-powered water system followed. ....
