 The University of Kentucky Staff Senate Employee Engagement Committee is launching a university-wide creativity and innovation showcase that will run in several installments throughout the year. The first showcase will be live in mid-January. Submissions for the first showcase are being accepted until Jan. 11, 2021.
The Employee Engagement Committee developed this program after significant requests to build community through creative outlets. The showcase will cycle throughout the year, offering multiple opportunities for university employees to express their creative and innovative endeavors.
The showcase’s intention is to highlight creative and innovative thought in any form: fine art, poetry, gardening, paper mâché, home organization, lawn mowing in interesting patterns, dog tricks, nail art, makeup, photography and more. It is designed to encourage connection through shared creative hobbies and interests. ....
