SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government has constituted a Special Task Force (STF) for identifying and scrutinizing its employees involved in any activity detrimental to the security of the country or deemed as anti-national.
The Union Territory’s General Administration Department (GDA) has issued an order giving sanction for the constitution of a STF which would be authorised to identify and scrutinize cases of government employees found involved in such activity and refer these to the government for action against them in terms of provisions o ....

No private tuition by teaching faculty without formal Govt sanction: HC

JAMMU, Mar 31: High Court has directed the Education Department to implement Rule 10 of the Employees Conduct Rules in letter and spirit and ensure that no member of its teaching faculty engages in private tuition at private coaching/tuition centres without previous sanction of the Government.
Moreover, High Court has directed that the Zonal Education Officers and Chief Education Officers shall be the nodal officers, who will ensure the implementation of Rule 10 of the Employees Conduct Rules and the circular/instructions, if any, issued by the Government to give effect to Rule 10 of the Employees Conduct Rules. ....

JAMMU, Mar 2: The administration of Union Territory of Ladakh has detected unauthorized information flow and communication of official documents without due approval and unwarranted access to the non-Government functionaries, which amounts to blatant violation of Employees Conduct Rules, 1971 and instructions issued from time to time.
This conduct of the officials has been viewed very seriously by the administration and accordingly fresh instructions have been issued for strict compliance by all the employees failing which departmental action will be taken and penalties imposed.
Rule 12 of the J&K Employees Conduct Rules, 1971 states: “No Government employee shall, except in accordance with any general or special order of the Government or in the performance in good faith of the duties assigned to him, communicate, directly or indirectly, any official document or any part thereof or information t ....
