The police also used force to disperse the students when they were staging a sit-in at the roundabout. Earlier, the students gathered in front of the National Press Club and staged a protest against the physical exams. Online ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Tuesday launched road safety campaign to ensure discipline on roads and overcome accidents by creating awareness about traffic rules among road users. The campaign was formally inaugurated by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamilur Rehman and DIG (Security) Waqarud Din Syed at a ceremony organised at F-8 Exchange Chowk by SSP (ITP) Farrukh Rasheed.
