FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Edinburgh Police Department requested the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office to conduct a criminal investigation involving an Edinburgh Police Department Officer on Tuesday, December 29.
Edinburgh Police Chief Doyne Little had been told by one of his officers that the mother of a minor had contacted him about alleged sexual abuses of her child. The suspect in the sexual abuse was another Edinburgh police officer, Michael David Nunez, 33.
Detectives visited the victim’s mother that same Tuesday evening. A forensic interview with the victim was conducted and evidence collected. During the interview, it was learned that the supposed abuse started in 2014. ....
