Etihad Aviation Training (EAT), located in Abu Dhabi, has signed a contract with Israir Airlines to offer Full-Flight Simulator pilot training for Israir Airlines’ Airbus A320 pilots.
Israir will dry lease EAT’s Full-Flight Simulators at the training facility, with the training conducted by Israir instructors. ....

Etihad Aviation Training (EAT) and Israir Airlines sign contract to lease simulator facility to Tel Aviv headquartered aviation firm.
In a deal signed between Etihad Aviation Training (EAT) and Israel s Israir Airlines, Full-Flight Simulator pilot training will be now be offered to the Tel Aviv headquartered airlines’ Airbus A320 pilots at the the EAT training facility in Abu Dhabi.
As part of the agreement, Israir will dry lease EAT’s Full-Flight Simulators and training will be conducted by Israir s instructors in the Abu Dhabi facility. ....

The Israeli carrier s pilots will train on the UAE airlines A320 Airbus simulator in Abu Dhabi.
Israir Airlines and Tourism Ltd. and Etihad Airways have signed a cooperation agreement for the Israeli carrier s pilots to train on the UAE airlines A320 Airbus simulator in Abu Dhabi. The training will be conducted by Israir s own staff.
Israir CEO Uri Sirkis met Etihad Airways CEO Tony Douglas and Etihad Aviation Training managing director Paolo La Cava at the airlines headquarters in Abu Dhabi shortly after the Abraham accords were signed in September. He said, I found a rare opportunity to use Etihad s simulators, which are just three hours flight from Israel. As well as the professional and financial advantages, I believe that the more interaction that there is between professionals from the two countries, then tourist traffic can strengthen accordingly. ....

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, took home three titles at the Aviation Business Awards, held in Dubai.

The airline collected the ‘Environmental Initiative of the Year’, while its training division Etihad Aviation Training was named ‘Training Provider of the Year’. Etihad Engineering was also recognised with the inaugural “Pride of Aviation” award.

The coveted award for ‘Environmental Initiative of the Year’ was presented for Etihad’s industry-leading commitment to driving the sustainability agenda. Etihad’s recent initiatives include the ecoDemonstrator programme in partnership with Boeing which is a prime example of industry collaboration to tackle climate change. This partnership delivers on the airline’s commitment for its Boeing 787 Dreamliners to be a testbed for technology acceleration as part of the Etihad Greenliner programme ....
