Man denies drug smuggling charge

A man has been charged over the discovery of 14.8 pounds of marijuana, valued at $124,000, at Bahamas Customs on University Drive.
Gerran Nottage, of Angel Drive, Eastwood Estates, pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy to possess dangerous drugs with intent to supply; possession of dangerous drugs with intent to supply; conspiracy to import dangerous drugs and importation of dangerous drugs at his arraignment before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes yesterday.
Prosecutors say that the conspiracy took place between December 23, 2020 and January 13, 2021. The importation and possession occurred on January 13. ....
