ESCONDIDO, Calif. (KGTV) An Escondido Walmart store is set to close Sunday for cleaning and sanitation amid the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the company, the Escondido Neighborhood Market location at 1266 East Valley Parkway will close Sunday at 2 p.m. The location will reopen on Tuesday, January 19 at 7 a.m.
Walmart issued the following statement Sunday afternoon:
Everything we’re doing is for the well-being of our associates and customers, and in consideration of guidance by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and health experts. When the store reopens Tuesday, we will continue conducting associate health screens and temperature checks, and all associates will be provided with facemasks and gloves. ....
