Ratings: Center's support falls to lowest in recent years

After losing the prime minister chair in January, the now-coalition Center Party has seen their support dwindling, falling to 17 percent in a recent survey conducted by pollster Turu-uuringute AS.
In December, Center s support was still 25 percent, around their average level since the elections in 2019. A survey conducted after the change in government in January of this year showed Center s support at 20 percent. The significant downward trend grew even further with only 17 percent of all respondents saying they would vote for Center in February. ....

The collapse of Jüri Ratas government and the formation of a new one brought forth great changes in party ratings: Reform and Conservative People s Party of Estonia (EKRE) gained support with Center and Eesti 200 losing support, according to a survey conducted by pollster Turu-uuringute AS.
A survey commissioned by ERR, Turu-uuringute AS began surveying people on January 12, a day before previous prime minister Jüri Ratas announced his resignation after his Center Party was alleged of giving out a €39-million loan to the Porto Franco real estate development in Tallinn. The survey lasted until January 21 and results show that Reform gained the most traction after taking over as the prime ministerial party, EKRE also gained suppor ....

Estonia 200 and EKRE gain most new members in 2020

Non-parliamentary party Estonia 200 and the Conservative People s Party of Estonia (EKRE) gained the most new members last year while Reform and Isamaa lost the most.
Estonia 200 gained 89 members, EKRE recorded 67 and the Center Party 27. The Reform Party lost 482 members, Isamaa 267 and the Social Democratic Party (SDE) 118.
As of December 2020, the Center Party has the biggest membership base with 14,722 members, followed by Reform with 11,303 and EKRE with 8,916 members. Isamaa is the fourth largest party with a membership totaling 7,797 and the SDE has 5,352 members.
All the non-parliamentary parties have approximately 1,000 members each or less.
The Greens have 928 members - 24 less than in December 2019 - the Estonian Party for the Future (TULE), a merger of the Free and Richness of Life parties, has 946 members and Estonia 200 has 692 members. ....
