Helping bring festive cheer to isolated and vulnerable residents of Matlock
Thanks to funding from Western Power’s ‘In This Together-Community Matters Festive Fund’ gifts and cards have been delivered to 100 vulnerable or isolated residents in Matlock, bringing smiles to their faces at a difficult time.

The coronavirus pandemic has had a devastating effect on many groups in society, not least the elderly and disabled, many of whom rely on social clubs and groups as their only form of social contact and support.
Matlock Town Council runs a community centre, the Imperial Rooms, which is widely used by the people of the town and two groups who meet regularly are the Imperial Lunch Club and Social Club for the Disabled. ....
