3 adults hospitalized, students monitored after SUV collides with Muleshoe school bus
Three adults were injured while several students were being monitored for injuries after an SUV and school bus collided Wednesday afternoon in Bailey County.
The crash involving a Muleshoe ISD bus and a GMC Acadia SUV occurred about 12:51 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 84 east of County Road 103 in Bailey County, according to an initial report from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Four children on the bus, whose ages were not released, were taken to Muleshoe Area Hospital for possible minor injuries.
Investigators believe the SUV, driven by Latisha Bibbs, was traveling eastbound on U.S. 84 west of CR 103 in the inside lane when the vehicle entered the center media, struck a metal Do Not Enter sign and crossed a culvert in the center median of CR 103. ....
