Slate Belt township considers creating special fee district for massive development

The proposed River Pointe Commerce Park is bound by River Road, Route 611, Potomac Street and Pine Tree Lane and sits in Upper Mount Bethel Township’s industrial zoning districts. It is owned by River Pointe Logistics, which plans 13 buildings totaling nearly 6 million square feet.

Upper Mount Bethel Township is considering an application to create a Neighborhood Improvement District.
The application comes from River Pointe Logistics, which has proposed a commerce park up to 6 million square feet of buildings on 725 acres in the township’s industrial zoning district. The company purchased the property in 2019. ....
