Panic in Imo as gunmen strike again, shoot four motorists

The incident happened on Sunday evening and made residents and passersby scamper for safety.
DAILY POST gathered that one of the victims was driving an unmarked security vehicle when the gunmen double-crossed him and shot him on the left shoulder before attacking other vehicles, including commercial motorists.
Eyewitnesses said that the robbers shot sporadically in the air, scaring both residents and policemen at the Orji Divisional Headquarters, along Okigwe road.
Reports said that over five commercial and private vehicles were robbed and dispossessed of their valuables.
Orlando Ikeokwu, the Imo State Police Public Relations Officer said that the victims have been taken to the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri where they are currently receiving treatment. ....

Confusion on Saturday intensified within the Umuezie community in Nguru, Aboh Mbaise local government area of Imo state, over the alleged freed of their monarch, Eze Charles Iroegbu from captivity.
Vanguardinvestigation from Nguru community saw that the members of the community were divided on whether if it’s true the monarch has been freed or still in captivity by his kidnappers. just as some claimed nothing of such existed.
This is just as the Imo State Police Command insisted that the kidnap of the monarch was never reported in any police station. ....

Okorocha arrested for breaking into his wife's property sealed by Imo Govt

Uche Nwosu, reportedly broke the keys to recover the estate belonging to his wife, Nkechi.
