Hanoi (VNS/VNA) - Fruit and vegetable exporters should improve
their processing technologies, especially in the post-harvest and packaging
stages, to preserve their products longer and enhance their value, experts said.
Statistics

fruit and vegetable exports in the first quarter were worth 950 million USD, a
6.1 percent rise year-on-year.

to the impact of COVID-19, last year exports fell marginally to 3.26 billion

HCM City (VNA) – Two more trains, to be used for Metro Line No 1 connecting Ben
Thanh Market in District 1 and the
Suoi Tien Theme Park in District 9 in Ho Chi

Hanoi (VNA) – The Ministry of Planning and
Investment (MoPI) has submitted a plan on developing the
cooperatives for the 2021-2025 period to the Prime Minister for approval.
The plan is part of efforts to carry out the strategy on
developing the collective economy and cooperatives for the 2021-2030 period, thus
laying a ground for ministries, agencies and localities to devise annual
programmes and schemes in fields under their management.

Hanoi (VNA) – The disbursement of public investment sourced from the
State budget in April was estimated at 30.4 trillion VND (1.32 billion USD), a
year-on-year surge of 23.9 percent, and reaching the
highest monthly level
since 2017, according to the General Statistics Office.
During January-April, 98.7 trillion VND worth of investment from the
State budget was disbursed, accounting for 21.5 percent of the annual plan, and
rising 16.3 percent from the same time in 2020.
Of the total figure, 15.1 trillion VND was disbursed by central agencies, or

A ceramics museum is in its final stage in Bat Trang ceramics craft village – an ideal tourist destination in Hanoi, with its shape inspired by the local turntables and ancient kilns.
Architect Hoang Thuc Hao, deputy head of the Vietnam Association of Architects, said the facility, named the centre of Vietnamese craft quintessence, features curved surfaces, and optimises the use of the village’s traditional materials like ceramic bricks, baked roof tiles, and mosaic tiles.
