NEW YORK, June 23, 2021 /PRNewswire/ The United Nations Correspondents Association (UNCA) invites media worldwide to submit entries for its 25th anniversary of the UNCA Awards for best print, broadcast (TV & Radio) and online, web-based media coverage of COVID-19, climate change and the United Nations, UN agencies and field operations.
While the UNCA Awards 25th anniversary was put on hold in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year the UN Correspondents Association will return to hosting the annual event in December, honoring excellence in journalism around the globe.

FITEQ signs up to United Nations #OneHumanity campaign Friday, 21 May 2021
The International Teqball Federation (FITEQ) has thrown its weight behind the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) #OneHumanity campaign.
The programme seeks to advance solidarity, cooperation and cross-culture dialogue.
FITEQ has pledged to run a social media campaign to share the #OneHumanity message with its followers, who number more than four million.
It will also produce dedicated education materials which will be shared with players, officials and fans, as well as at FITEQ events and at the Teqball Roadshow. We are proud to team up with the UNAOC on this critically important campaign, said Gergely Murányi, FITEQ s head of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and diplomatic relations.

To capitalize on this momentum, the UNESCO New Delhi Office in collaboration with the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) is organizing the first iTAGe event, Talking Across Generations on the State of Preventing Violent Extremism (PVE) in South Asia on 18 June 2021.
