Qatar affirms international efforts to achieve sustainable peace

The State of Qatar affirmed its keenness to adopt a holistic and integrated approach within the framework of its international efforts aimed at achieving sustainable peace. Qatar stressed the need for the approach to focus on laying the foundations for peace, security, and stability, coupled with providing support to achieve sustainable development goals. This came in a statement delivered by Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to United Nations H E Ambassador Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani at the virtual meeting held by the UN Security Council on “Challenges of Maintaining Peace and Security in Fragile Contexts.” ....
