FORT PIERCE  Three buildings behind the main Twin Vee PowerCats boat facility at Edwards Road and U.S. 1 burned Wednesday, but there were no reported injuries, officials said. 
St. Lucie County Fire District crews at 12:28 p.m. went to the scene for a report of a brush fire, but on the way there were reports it spread to a building, said William French, division chief with the Fire District. 
Black smoke was billowing in the area.
Edwards Road from U.S. 1 west to Oleander Boulevard was closed until shortly before 4 p.m. as at least 10 fire district vehicles jammed the scene. ....
