First Peoples Community Federal Credit Union once again presented a check Dec. 8, in the amount of $750 to the Meyersdale Area High School on behalf of its SwipeBoost debit card program.
The SwipeBoost! program earns money for the district each time a cardholder “Swipes” their Red Raiders debit card to make a purchase. The SwipeBoost program was implemented in 2008 and the Red Raiders card was created in 2014.
According to Holly Rugg, Meyersdale branch manager, the SwipeBoost! Program coincides with the Credit Union Charter to meet the financial needs of members and its local communities by giving back. ....
