Perth-based Clough has won an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract worth A$400mn ($309mn) for the second-stage development of the Waitsia gas field in Western Australia, it said on January 11.
The award by Japan s Mitsui and Australia s Beach Energy comes weeks after the pair took a final investment decision on the project, which will ramp up production to 270 TJ/day from 2o TJ at present. The expansion involves adding six wells and a new gas processing plant at a cost of A$768mn. ....
