The aircraft was carrying a COVID-19 patient for treatment in Mumbai. The pilot was alerted but he kept flying to burn fuel before coming in to land. After hovering over Mumbai, he finally made a belly-landing without any casualties. ....

New Delhi [India], April 27 (ANI): Indian naval ship (INS) Sharda on Tuesday completed the first phase of transfer of Covid-19 supplies including oxygen cylinders in Lakshadweep, the Indian Navy said.
The transfer took place at four islands - Agatti, Andrott, Kadmat and Kavaratti. The next consignment of Covid-19 supplies and Oxygen Express is scheduled for departure today, said the Indian Navy.
Additionally, the Indian Navy s IN LCU 55 arrived in Port Blair on Monday, the ship brought oxygen cylinders and multi feed oxygen manifolds (MOM manufactured by Naval Dockyard Vizag) from Visakhapatnam to cater for exigencies. ....

Covid-19: Navy deploys 'Oxygen Express' to island territories | India News

NEW DELHI: The Navy on Sunday kicked off an “Oxygen Express” ferry to the country’s island territories, with a warship being dispatched from Kochi to Lakshadweep with oxygen cylinders and medical supplies.
Patrol vessel INS Sharda transported 35 oxygen cylinders, rapid antigen detection test kits, personal protective equipment, masks and other equipment to Kavaratti.
“After some stores were disembarked at Kavaratti, INS Sharda then went to Minicoy to do the same. Moreover, 41 empty oxygen cylinders from the islands have been embarked onboard Indian Navy-hired vessel, Meghna. The vessel is now headed to Kochi for refilling of the empty cylinders and will then return to Lakshadweep,” said an official. ....

New Delhi, April 25 : As part of the nation s fight against Covid-19, Indian Navy ships are progressing with Oxygen Express mission to support the Union Territory of Lakshadweep s administration.
On Sunday morning, INS Sharda, based at Kochi, undertook transfer of essential medical supplies to Lakshadweep s Kavaratti. The stores consisted of 35 oxygen cylinders, rapid antigen detection test (RADT) kits, personal protective equipment (PPE), masks and other items to fight the pandemic. ....

Kochi (Kerala) [India], January 26 (ANI): A ceremonial parade was held at the naval base, Southern Naval Command (SNC) at Kerala s Kochi on Tuesday to commemorate the nation s 72nd Republic Day.
As per an official statement issued by the SNC, The parade was reviewed by Vice Admiral AK Chawla, the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (FOC-in-C) SNC and comprised 12 platoons.
