Selangor E-Bazar CNY campaign generates RM35.5m direct sales, spillover of RM619m

SHAH ALAM (April 7): The recent Selangor E-Bazar Chinese New Year Campaign achieved RM35.5 million in direct sales, said the Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation (SIDEC).
In a statement today, the corporation said the campaign, which ran from Feb 1 to March 7, has generated RM619 million in ripple effect to the state economy, including the direct sales.
The Selangor government had channeled RM2 million in the form of vouchers for the Selangor E-Bazar CNY Campaign that onboarded 19,644 new e-merchants, benefiting a total 77,903 e-merchants. ....
