France - CNC announces third Sustainable Leather Forum programme 02 July 2021 Under the patronage of Le Ministère de l’Économie et des Finances, and in the presence of Olivia Grégoire (Secretary of State to the Minister of Social and Responsible Economy), the Sustainable Leather Forum announces the speaker programme for its third edition, which aims to discuss the best practices in the French Leather Industry in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility on a social, environmental, and an economic level. France - CNC re-elects Frank Boehly as president 28 June 2021 French industry body, the Conseil National du Cuir, has re-elected Frank Boehly. Mr Boehly has been the organisation’s president since 2014; he has now been re-elected for his third term in the post, reports Leatherbiz.
Frank Boehly On being re-elected, he said that in his previous mandate, CNC had represented the leather industry well before the authorities in France, protected leather’s identity well and showcased the craftsmanship and skill of the artisans who work in different areas of the industry. For this new mandate, which will run until 2024, he said the organisation would emphasise the leather industry’s commitment to sustainability and respond to demands for traceability and transparency. ....
