Th staff member last worked on Dec. 27 in the 2B neighbourhood on residential care. In a statement posted to the seniors’ facility’s website, Kamloops Seniors Village general manager Lisa Robitaille said the staff member was wearing proper and required personal protective equipment at all times and only worked in the 2B location. Robitaille said that, as a precaution, all visitations to the Hugh Allan Drive seniors’ residence have been cancelled. Robitaille said staff continue to wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times and continue to follow hand-hygiene practices. “The staff will continue co-horting to their respective neighbourhoods to decrease any transmission,” Robitaille wrote in a statement posted to the seniors’ facility’s website. “We also have additional housekeeping staff for enhanced cleaning and to allow for staff-floor grouping.” ....
