Karachi University on Wednesday extended the deadline to submit the examination forms and fees of BA (External) Part-I, II, both parts and improvement of division till April 01, 2021.
The varsity, in a statement, said the candidates appearing in the BA part-I or II papers would pay fees of Rs4,850, whereas candidates of both parts would submit fees of Rs8,450, according to a statement from the varsity.
Candidates, who were registered in 2014 or earlier and would like to appear in BA External Annual Examinations 2020, would have to deposit fees of Rs3,000 in addition to their normal exam fees, it said. ....

Karachi University on Thursday extended the deadline for submission of BSc and BCom Part-I and II Annual Examinations 2020 without any late fee at their respective colleges until March 18.
Controller of Examinations KU Dr Syed Zafar Hussain said that the examination forms would be available at bank branches on campus against the payment of Rs100, adding that the students of BSc and BCom Part-I or II would pay fees Rs6725 while the candidates appearing in both parts would pay Rs1,1850, and the candidates who were enrolled in 2014 or earlier, could appear in the exams by paying Rs3,000 fine. ....

The administration of Karachi University on Wednesday laid the foundation stone of the experimental field for an “Agriculture and Food Industry Specific Innovation Technology Research Park”.
According to varsity officials, the Department of Agriculture and Agribusiness Management has been allocated 18.18 acres for the experimental field, while the Department of Food Science and Technology has been given one acre for the establishment of the Food Industry Specific Innovation Technology Research Park.
Addressing the ceremony and the inauguration of a Digital Seminar Library, Vice Chancellor Karachi University Prof Khalid Mahmood Iraqi said Pakistan had to adopt the same culture to progress in the right direction. ....

Karachi University on Tuesday announced the results of BDS First, Second, and Third Professional Annual Examination 2020, a statement issued in this regard said.
According to the gazette issued, 103 candidates registered and appeared in the BDS First Professional Annual Examination 2020, out of which 66 students cleared their papers. The overall passing percentage was 64.08%.
The statement mentioned that Nida, bearing seat number 205060, and a student of Karachi Medical and Dental College, obtained 572 marks out of a total of 700 marks and clinched the first position.
Meanwhile, Muqqudas Iqbal, having seat number 205055, and a student of KMDC, received 555 marks and was declared second, whereas Javeria Faisal, having seat number 205045, and a student of KMDC, got 553 marks and third position. ....

Karachi University on Friday said that online applications for the open merit admission to the Master s and Bachelor s programmes for the academic year 2021 would be accepted till December 24, 2020.
All the details regarding admission policy eligibility, requirements for the departments, and a number of seats can be seen in the Admission Prospectus-2021, which is available at the web portal.
