Bremerton bartender charged in racist attack on Black man

Prosecutors charged a Bremerton man with a hate crime for stalking a Black man at his work nearly hitting him with the retired ambulance he was driving challenging him to a fight and calling him the n-word.
The incident comes as state lawmakers recently noted an increase over the past five years of crimes against people based on their race, religion and gender. 
The victim, who works at a car dealership on Auto Center Way, told Bremerton police on December 7 the problems with Christopher Michael Humphries, 42, started the Friday before.  ....
