Ypsilanti Township drive-by shooting suspect pleads no contest to felony charges

ANN ARBOR, MI – A man accused of repeatedly targeting an Ypsilanti Township home in a string of drive-by shootings over the summer has pleaded no contest to various felony charges.
Martez Iddarion-Marnae Ayers pleaded no contest Monday, Feb. 8, to four felony counts associated with a rash of shootings that erupted from Sept. 1 to Sept. 3 on Foley Avenue in Ypsilanti Township, court records show.
He pleaded no contest to one count each of discharging a firearm in or at a building, discharging a firearm from a vehicle, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of ammunition by a felon. ....
