Ypsilanti shooting leaves victim in serious condition

YPSILANTI, MI - One person suffered serious injuries from a late Saturday shooting in Ypsilanti, officials said.
Paramedics responded to a shooting report at 10:50 p.m. Saturday, May 1 near N. Adams and Emmet streets, said Huron Valley Ambulance.
One victim was transported to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital with serious injuries, officials said. Paramedics required support from Ypsilanti Fire Department paramedics to assist with medical treatment, officials said.
Officers from the Ypsilanti Police Department also responded to the 10:50 p.m. alert from Washtenaw County Central Dispatch. Detectives are currently investigating the incident. ....
