A Penn Yan man pleaded guilty in court this week to a count of predatory sexual assault against a child.
Yates County District Attorney Todd Casella says Timothy Brewer, 65, pleaded guilty to the violent felony charge. He’s expected to be sentenced to 10 years to life in prison.
At this point sentencing is scheduled for February 2nd.
He was taken into custody in May 2020 after grooming and luring a young child to perform various sexual acts. The incidents increased in severity, according to prosecutors, as they occurred. ....
