Shock over closure of teen shelter

A county councilor who set up a night shelter for teens is in shock at its closure.
Francis Timmons said it doesn t make sense to close Lefroy House on Eden Quay.
The Nightlight service has operated for 20 years.
It houses seven teens and provides services for 17 and 18 years old.
It was announced day it will close and Councillor Timmons told us he can t understand it.
He said: My first reaction was an absolute shock, as well as seven emergency beds, we also have six support flats there which were for people to be able to get support upstairs in the buildings, where they could live for maybe two years before they got their own accommodation . ....
