JAMMU, July 13: Congress Councillors of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today highlighted the plight of flash floods hit people in yesterday’s heavy rainfall.
Addressing a press conference here today chief whip of Congress in JMC, Dwarka Choudhary said many people suffered heavy losses as water from flooded drains and Nallahs entered their houses yesterday.
They claimed that poor working of JMC has resulted in all these losses and added that JMC has failed to timely and properly de-silt the drains and Nallahs of Jammu which led flash floods yesterday. ....
