As a result of information obtained from previous searches, investigators will now focus their efforts back towards Wonnangatta, in particular along the Dargo High Plains Road, Cynthia Range Track ,Herne Spur Track and the Wonnangatta Track. The 36-year-old was last seen leaving a Woolworths store in Albert Street, Brunswick at 5.30pm on Saturday 10 April at 5.30pm. Maryam is described to be 165cm tall, with a thin build and long black hair, brown eyes and an olive complexion. She was last seen wearing a black dress and had told family she was intending to visit a friend in Brighton. Maryam was reported missing to police on the Thursday 15 April. Last night, detectives executed a search warrant at a Well Street, Brighton residence and arrested a 45-year-old man. ....

The 36-year-old was last seen leaving a Woolworths store in Albert Street, Brunswick at 5.30pm on Saturday 10 April. Police arrested a 45-year-old man last night following a search warrant at a Brighton residence. The Brighton man has been charged tonight with matters unrelated to Maryam’s disappearance. He has been remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 30 April. Maryam is described to be 165cm tall, with a thin build and long black hair, brown eyes and an olive complexion. She was last seen wearing a black dress and had told family she was intending to visit a friend in Brighton. ....
