BELLEVILLE A man claims a nursing facility s failure to treat his father s infected pressure ulcers and pneumonia resulted in his death. 
Jarrett Arnold, as independent administrator of the Estate of James Arnold, Jr., deceased, filed a complaint (complaint part two) Jan. 5 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Aperion Care Mascoutah LLC and Vohra Wound Physicians of IL., S.C., alleging negligence. 
The plaintiff alleges in his complaint that his father, James Arnold, Jr., was transferred from the Aperion Care facility in Fort Wayne, Ind., to Aperion Care in Mascoutah on Feb. 2, 2019. He was then taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital in Belleville on Feb. 17, 2019, where he died from septic shock from infected pressure ulcers and pneumonia.   ....
