The Sheridan County Commission has ratified documents concerning two lots in the Trailside at Woodland Park Subdivision. A Partial Release of Mortgage, an Assignment of Affordable Housing Agreement, and a Third Party Mortgage and Note with Ash Investments for Lots 19 and 20 were approved during the Consent Agenda portion of their recent meeting. The Trailside at Woodland Park Affordable Housing Project consists of entry-level single-family homes located near Woodland Park Elementary School. The project was partially funded with money provided from a $340,000 sum set up by the Sheridan County Commission for affordable housing projects in the county. ....
Two Woodland Park Elementary School students are the winners of this year’s Sheridan Memorial Hospital Christmas Card Art Contest. Designs by third graders Gracie Babbitt and Raegan Welles were chosen over those submitted by third, fourth and fifth grade students from across Sheridan County. Students this year were asked to create a design that captured the theme, “Prayers to Healthcare Workers.” The winning designs will be showcased on the hospital’s 2020 hospital Christmas cards, and all of this year’s entries are on display now through the holiday season in the windows of the hospital’s offices at 61 South Gould Street in downtown Sheridan. ....
