Since 2016, when Gospel musician Cwesi Oteng decided to pitch camp with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), he has faced criticism from some quarters and has had to justify his decision.
In spite of the criticism, he again supported the NPP and President Akufo-Addo this year and he told
Graphic Showbiz recently that his Christian faith motivated him to do so and he wasn’t perturbed by the backlash.
“I think it is okay for celebrities to add their voices to social development. It is okay when necessary for celebrities to stand with political parties that they believe have the right policies to move the country forward. ....

As we all know, a lot of people who have made it in life today did not have it all rosy in the beginning and such is the life story of popular Ghanaian Gospel musician Celestine Donkor.
Speaking on the Delay Show, the celebrated singer recalled how she struggled in life as a house help when she was growing up.
Sadly the gospel act admitted to this wicked act by her masters back then, she said it was a one time experience and went further to explain how it happened.
She said as a house help by then, after requesting food her madam asked her to eat her baby’s human waste before she was given food which she did because she didn’t have any option. ....
