Prosecute DCE, others who assaulted me – Policeman seeks justice
Grand Corporal Frank Mensah, the Police Officer who was allegedly beaten by the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District Chief Executive, Hon. Emmanuel Ransford Kwesi Nyarko, at Ajumako Ocheso is demanding justice.
The law enforcement officer is suffering from pains in his spinal cord and the entire body which has left him unable to sleep at night.
“I can’t sit down for more than one hour due to my situation so I want Justice. Nobody is above the law and so I expect the DCE and his thugs who assaulted me to face the law just as any other Ghanaian who has violated the law will be made to do. They must be prosecuted to serve as a deterrent for others not to put the law into their own hands,” G/Cpl Frank Mensah told Kasapa News Yaw Bagyan. ....

Disquiet among officers as DCE leads attack on policeman in the Central Region
There is widespread agitation among police officers in the Ajumako/Enyan/Essiam District town of Orchiso after the District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area led an attack on one of their colleagues.
Police in the Central Region said on Monday that the said officer G/Corporal Frank Mensah is receiving treatment at the Ajumako Hospital.
The DCE, Ransford Kwesi Nyarko, has since been admitted to bail after spending hours in police custody.

Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam DCE Arrested For Leading Thugs To Beat Police Officer

District Chief Executive (DCE) for Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam, Mr Emmanuel Ransford Kwesi Nyarko, has been arrested by the Central Regional Police Command for leading thugs numbering about eight to assault a police officer at Ajumako Ocho.
General/Corporal, Frank Mensah of Ochiso Police Station near Ajumako, was assaulted in the presence of two Community Police Assistants, who were on duty with him.
The DCE, accompanied by a man, known in the Community as Bob, and another in a military camouflage uniform, and others whose names were unknown but could be identified, released a suspect in custody into their vehicle and drove away. ....
