Two persons on a commercial motorbike have been burnt to death in a fatal crash with a commercial vehicle at Adawso in the Akuapem North Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The accident occurred Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at about 8:00 pm.
The bodies of the deceased persons -Abigail Mawuli, 24, and Abokyi Michael, 26, have been deposited at the morgue.
The rider Kwaku Amponsah, 19, was riding the unregistered Royal motorcycle from Adawso towards the Apasare community with two pillion riders-Abigail Mawuli and Abokyi Michael onboard.
However, on reaching a section of the road at the outskirt of Akuapem -Adawso the rider veered into the opposite lane and collided with a Hyundai H100 mini bus with registration GT 5964-10 driven by one Isaac Kwaku Mintah coming from the opposite direction.

Two male passengers died while many sustained injuries in a fatal accident which occured Monday evening on Tema to Akosombo Highway.
The accident which involved a Mercedes Benz Sprinter with registration number GT4087-15 happened about 6:40pm at Adelakope community near Akuse junction stretch of the road.
The Acting Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command Sergeant Francis Gomado, said preliminary investigation by Police revealed that on February 22,2021 about 6:30pm suspect driver Anku Christian -34 years was driving the said commercial bus with passengers on board from Ashaiman to Kpassa.
