A Coal City man was sentenced in Grundy County on Tuesday, March 8
th. In January of 2021, Harold Hogan entered into a blind guilty plea on the charge of Aggravated DUI while having two priors, a class two felony.  As part of the blind plea, an Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding charge was dropped.
The Coal City Police Department said an officer noticed a vehicle driven by the 40-year-old Hogan weaving in and out of lanes on Broadway Street in Coal City in November of 2019. As the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, Hogan failed to comply. The chase went into Diamond, then on Interstate 55 where Hogan was allegedly driving at speeds of 110 miles per hour and he eventually got off on the Reed Road exit. ....
