BELLAIRE A Village Council meeting that was slated to be held Thursday evening ended up being canceled due to anticipated inclement weather.
Village Treasurer Tom Sable said Thursday evening that Mayor Vince DiFabrizio sent a message to members of council earlier that morning saying the meeting was being canceled.
The village has been holding its meetings via Zoom and broadcasting them over its new Facebook page since December.
However, one person still needs to be inside the council chamber to operate the computer to get it started to broadcast via Facebook, he said.
Council members had some technical difficulties in past weeks keeping the Zoom meeting running on Facebook. Because of this they enlisted some technical support to handle that task for future meetings. ....
